In Australia, every hour 6 babies are born premature or critically ill. Babies born premature or critically ill can go on to face lifelong challenges and the experience affects the wellbeing of the entire family. These babies require specialised medical care and sadly, each year up 1,000 babies will lose their fight for life. One is too many!

The team of educators at Earlwood Preschool are taking part in the Miracle Moon Walk to raise funds for Miracle Babies Foundation who provide vital programs and resources to these miracle families to help them through this overwhelming and traumatic experience. We will be walking in honour of our Butterfly friend Otis who was a premature baby and has a new brother Marley who is also a premature baby, currently being cared for in hospital.
