Walk as the sun sets and the stars emerge and take in the iconic sites of Sydney.

What time does it start? The hub opens at 4pm with the Walk starting from 5.30pm.

We expect our Moon Walkers to take anywhere between 2 - 3 hours depending on how much the laughter and photos have slowed you down. When you get back to the hub, remember to pick up all of your photos from the TagSnaps booth (to get these, simply keep snapping and uploading to Instagram using the hashtag #miraclemoonwalk throughout the night).

Note: T-Shirts are collected from the registration desk on the night.

Location:  Sydney CBD

The event hub will be held at Martin Place, right in the heart of Sydney CBD. Food and refreshments will be available following the walk and the central location means there are plenty of options nearby if your friends feel like keeping the party going after your walk, plus easy parking and public transport.

Walker Testimonials

"It was a privilege to participate in The inaugural Miracle Moon Walk, supporting the work of Miracle Babies. A fabulous 10km walk around beautiful Sydney on a most pleasant spring evening. I predict this annual Miracle Moon Walk fundraiser will become one of the premier events in Sydney and I very much look forward to participating next year. The Australian College of Neonatal Nurses are proud to partner with Miracle Babies to improve the lives of small and sick babies and their families."

"On Saturday, the Inaugural Miracle Babies Moon Walk not only happened, but firmly established itself as permanent fixture on the Sydney fundraising event calendar! So many of these have played an instrumental part in the Miracle Babies story – the founders, the volunteers, the neo-natal nurses, the parents and their miracle babies who literally got / get to “walk on the Moon” thanks to the tireless work and support provided by this vitally important Foundation. It takes a lot of hard work and a little bit of good fortune to pull off a successful 1st time event - and the Miracle Babies Foundation, their events team and sponsors NAILED IT! Creating an atmosphere that captivates and inspires people on an emotional level needs just the right mix of preparation and spontaneity : a beautiful moonlit night, glorious weather, the emotional introduction, the warm T-shirt and glow sticks, the tutus, convenient parking, the white tents, the maps, the spectacular walk around our beautiful harbour (10kms is the perfect distance for a family), the friendly marshals positioned just where you needed them to be (some even had SNACKS and DRINKS stands to help us all cope with the mouth-watering smells wafting out of all the restaurants we passed !), the collectable wristbands (each with a letter from the word MIRACLE), plus the opportunity to spread awareness to the many passers by who wanted to know who we were and what we were doing – none of whom failing to be visibly moved, even inspired to think about being part of this next year."
